A metal stud and punched hole are used to fasten the cuff in place. The metal stud can be unscrewed to fit in one of three holes so that you can adjust the size of the wristband.  Over time, as you wear this leather cuff, the leather will become softer and it will darken which gives it a a very nice aged look.  All of my leather is hand cut, hand sewn and hand assembled which may account for slight imperfections. I like to think it gives each piece its own unique character, to indicate that this leather cuff was crafted by hand.
