MCM Decorama Dishes

Often mistaken for mid-century modern pieces by Russel Wright, these Decorama brand dishes are in great vintage condition. Included in this set are four dessert plates, one teacup plate, and one gravy boat, all in a bluish gray tone, and other than typical factory defects, they are without chips, cracks, and crazing (see photos). None of these dishes have the Decorama maker mark, but the matching dinner plates (already sold) have the mark. Research on the Decorama brand has turned up no additional information, so I’m assuming the dishes were made as a more affordable option to Russel Wright or other makers in this style at the time (1950s). Plates: 6” diameter Gravy Boat: 7.25”x 4”x 3.25” at spout Total weight: 2lbs 5.2oz
